This project comprises 36 units of farmworker
family housing in Yakima County. The development provides 26 new units
for permanent agricultural workers and 10 new units for seasonal agricultural
workers.

Traugott Terrace
This Seattle project is the first LEED certified affordable housing project in the nation. The development provides 50 units of clean and sober housing for people recovering from alcohol and substance abuse.

The Oakland Block Building
This Bellingham project is a historic rehab. The development provides 20 units of affordable housing for a downtown workforce and five street-level retail spaces. The project receved a National Award of Excellence from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment.

Beacon Receives Top Award  Affordable Housing Finance Magazine named BDG "One of the Top 50 Affordable Housing Developers in the Nation" in their May, '07 edition.
Award for Historic Preservation The New Wilson Hotel, developed by BDG for the Anacortes Housing Authority, received the 2007 Award for Outstanding Preservation by the WA State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.

SeaGreen Award The City of Seattle presented its first SeaGreen Award for sustainable affordable housing to Traugott Terrace.
Friend of Housing Awards 2004 This year at the Housing Washington conference Beacon President, Paul Purcell, was given this distinguished award for his contributions to the affordable housing community.
