Shepherd's Garden

Beacon Development Group is working with American Baptist Homes of the West on the development of an affordable housing project for seniors.  Located in Lynnwood, WA, Shepherd's Garden will be on the campus of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church.  To learn more about this project, click here.



Cornerstone Courtyard Award
Cornerstone Courtyard, an historic rehab project developed by BDG for Northeast Washington Housing Services, recently received a PRAIS Award from the Pacific Northwest Regional Coucil of NAHRO.  The award was given for innovative services in project design-modernization/rehabilitation.

Project Receives Gold Certified LEED for Homes Award
Tepeyac Haven, a multi-family housing project in Pasco, WA is the first Gold Certified LEED for Homes multi-family project in the nation. BDG developed Tepeyac Haven for Catholic Housing Services of Eastern Washington.

Beacon Staff Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity
The staff of Beacon Development Group spent a full day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home in the High Point neighborhood of West Seattle.


Beacon works with Jubilee Women's Center
Beacon Development Group is working with Jubilee Women’s Center to update and renovate their facility on Capitol Hill in Seattle. Jubilee is a supportive housing program for women who are homeless. Beacon Receives Top Award
            
Affordable Housing Finance Magazine named BDG "One of the Top 50 Affordable Housing Developers in the Nation" in their May, '07 edition.

Award for Historic Preservation
The New Wilson Hotel, developed by BDG for the Anacortes Housing Authority, received the 2007 Award for Outstanding Preservation by the WA State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
                         

Affordable Housing Advisory Board

SeaGreen Award
The City of Seattle presented its first SeaGreen Award for sustainable affordable housing to Traugott Terrace.
