Project Description: Mabton Family Housing includes 17 buildings: 14 duplex buildings planned around a central plaza, and 3 buildings of flats for migrant workers. The plaza serves as a community gathering place as well as a place for children and families to interact. The buildings are either two-story duplex townhouse units, or one- or two-story buildings with flats. A community building is also included in the development. Population/Residents Served: Agricultural worker families, including five units set aside for large families and five units set aside for families that include a member with a disability.Twenty-five of the units are low-income permanent housing units and 1 on-site managers unit. In addition, there are 10 units for migrant agricultural worker families. |
