The Emmons Apartments
This redevelopment of abandoned apartments in the historic district of Tacoma currently provides 22 units of permanent affordable housing for very low income families.   


Project Description: The Emmons Apartments consist of two , two-story brick, and brick/stucco structures constructed in 1910 on a 12,000 sq. foot corner lot in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma.  The total building square footage is 20,294.

Residents Served: Low income families at 40% of average median income.  Set asides include: of the 22 units, five units are for people with disabilities and five  are 3-bedroom units for large families of five or more people.
