Project Description:
New construction of a two-story group residential facility that includes 12 sets of bunk beds for individuals and one studio apartment to accommodate a man with children. The project also includes staff offices, rooms where service providers may meet with residents, bathrooms, washers and dryers, and a communal dining facility. Benedict House is located within walking distance of the central business district and public transportation.

Residents Served: Benedict House serves chronically homeless men with one unit set aside for a homeless man with children. The income of all residents is less than 30% of the area median income. Individuals are considered chronically homeless when they have experienced four or more episodes of homelessness in the past three years or have been continuously homeless for one year or longer.
