Farmworker Family Housing Located throughout WA state, these apartments and town homes provide housing for both permanent and seasonal agricultural farm workers and their families whose income is below 50% AMI. Beacon has teamed with non-profit sponsors to develop 14 such projects. |

Green / Sustainable / LEED Certified Buildings These "high performance" buildings are designed, constructed, and operated in ways that significantly reduce the impact on our earth's resources while providing a healthy environment for occupants. Beacon developed the first LEED certified low-income housing project in the nation. Three sustainable projects have been completed by Beacon. |

Historic Rehab Buildings designated on a national / state / or local historic register are eligible for rehabilitation using federal historic rehabilitation tax credits as part of their funding source. Thus far, Beacon has developed four such buildings to house low-income families and individuals. |

New Construction Beacon works with non-profit and public housing groups to locate, purchase, finance, and develop new properties for low-income individuals and families throughout WA state. Since 1999, 11 such projects have been developed with Beacon. |
